This post was written on Sept. 15. I’m a little out of order because I just forgot I had this draft, so I’m going to back-date it on the blog to fit in chronological order with the rest of the pregnancy posts. Sorry, folks.
It’ll be a few more days yet before I know whether or not we were successful this month. So of course, I’m overanalyzing every single little sign. Yesterday and today, it’s been moments of nausea in the early evening. I’ve been trying to do Atkins just to lose the few lbs I’ve gained since all these foot problems and as I was eating a slice of cheddar cheese after work, I suddenly had the urge to vomit. It didn’t last very long, maybe a few minutes, but I ended up giving my cheese to my husband because I was no longer hungry.
Today, a similar situation right around now (almost 6pm). Just a sudden urge of wanting to throw up that quickly passes. Usually I only feel like throwing up when I’m a) super sick with a stomach flu or food poisoning – which is always accompanied by severe stomach pain b) drunk, which is also accompanied by severe dizziness or c) motion sick – which again is always accompanied by some sort of headache. This? Is a new feeling. One I’m not familiar with but one that I’m glad isn’t joined by feelings of discomfort in my stomach or head, at least for now.
I’m super hopeful this is an early sign of pregnancy. So far, I haven’t felt anything else other than what I assume to be typical PMS symptoms. Funny how the “earliest signs of pregnancy” symptoms that I’ve read about online are exactly like PMS symptoms.
