Ok so I’ve had that “Coming Soon!” paragraph on this page for oh…five years. FIVE. YEARS. Apparently I don’t know the meaning of “soon.” Anyway, I’m sort of partial to it now so I won’t erase it, but if you’re new here, my name is Liz. Hi. Thanks for stopping by and caring enough to click on my “About” page. My blog is about anything, everything, and nothing. I’m a mom and I talk about my kid (and second pregnancy) A LOT so I guess that makes me a “mommy blogger.” Speaking of, baby boy #2 is due in March of 2014 (the year has been added in case I don’t get around to updating this for another five years). My husband and I, our 1.5 kids, and our dog all live in St. Louis, Mo. I have a background in PR and he has a background in advertising, so we both geek out about the same things. And if the title of this blog didn’t give it away already, I have a minor obsession with cake, and sweets in general. My affections are easily won over by all sorts of desserts – cookies, brownies, donuts, muffins, and the occasional pie. So if you want me to show up to your party or event, all you have to do is tell me, “Yes, Liz. There will be cake.” I’m there.

Coming Soon! (Doesn’t that phrase remind you of a theatrical release? But less cool. Unless we’re talking about “Grandma’s Boy” because that movie sucked. My blog is way cooler than that movie.)
